Society For Wound Care & Research (SWCR) is the
first & the only registered Organization in India of its kind.
Thanks to our Founder President Prof. Dr. Pramod Kumar whose
vision & creative idea gave birth to SWCR. No organization is
complete without its official Journal. In its first annual
conference which held in September 2007 in Kasturba Medical
College (KMC), Manipal, Karnataka under the Presidentship of Dr.
Pramod Kumar the Official Journal of SWCR was declared.
Subsequently as per the By-Laws of SWCR Editorial Board of SWCR
was framed. I must thank Dr. Pramod Kumar, for guiding time to
time, as he has been Former Editor of Indian Association of
Plastic Surgery (IAPS). First issue of JSWCR was issued in 2008.
This year second issue has been compiled with the help of new
International & National Editorial Board members. I thank all of
the Board Members for the constant help & support. Now JSWCR can
